The Opportunity | Senior Quality Engineer

Designs, implements and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution. Designs methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products. Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards (i.e. GLP, GMP, ISO, Six Sigma).  Prepares and provide product assurance documentation as required by customer programs.

Your Challenge:

 Defines and develops quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements.

 Reviews, evaluates, and dispositions complex in-process rejections and implements corrective action as needed.

 Interfaces with customers, vendors and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information including but not limited to customer returns, advanced rejections, and MRB activity.

 Participates in and may lead audits.

 Provides technical support to suppliers, customers, and internal personnel as needed.

 May prepare and provide product assurance documentation as required by customer programs.

 

Your Expertise:

 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred

 4-6 years’ experience quality assurance background with most recent experience in quality engineering capacity.

 Strong oral and written communication skills

 Knowledge of MS Office.
