3) MASTERCAM / FUSION 360 CNC Programmer Near CHARLOTTE NC Global company
As programmer, you will be responsible for developing programs, manufacturing processes in Fusion 360 or Mastercam, building fixturing and set ups for all milling machines ensuring efficiency of the machines and the optimization of programs. Working on both CNC horizontal and vertical equipment, you will design fixturing and configure tools. You will be responsible for proving and setting up the program while documenting setup and tooling notes.
Key Responsibilities
• Interprets part prints and utilizing tooling and fixture knowledge, designs and develops machine programming process and programs to create part(s).
• Design fixturing, work holding, and tooling to support production.
• Set up of machines, including optimization or programs.
• Supports estimating and quoting process for customers based on detailed drawings and specifications as needed.
• CAD/CAM programming/drafting of customer parts for production, including updating new revisions as received from customers.
• CNC Mill, router machines and lathe operation and technical support as needed.
• Technical support to production.
Specialized Skills and Abilities
• High School Graduate
• Minimum 5 years mill experience with CNC programming software. (Fusion 360/Mastercam)
• Minimum 5 years set-up/machine integration/fixturing experience on multi-axis CNC machines.
• Experience working in an ISO manufacturing environment and understanding of quality requirements/standards.
• 1-5 years FANUC control experience.
• Plastic machining experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles preferred.
• CAD/CAM experience and strong computer skills.
• Proven critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
• Excellent time management skills while balancing programming and setups.
• Understanding of blueprints and quality standards and tolerances.
• Strong math background.
