1) CNC MFG ENGINEER RALIEGH NC AREA
The manufacturing engineer is responsible to develop the process of new products to be introduced, update and improve current process, create CNC program, test new machinery and manufacturing techniques. Also work in a global environment cooperating with other units to guarantee that the best practices are shared and implemented. Responsibilities include quality initiatives, interaction with management and employees.
• Develop machining process to guide the automation engineer on how to machine the product;
• Create stable process to deliver quality work to production.
• Work close with production leaders and quality team to solve quality problem.
• Test and implement new tooling and machinery.
• Manage system such as Vericut, TDM, NX, Auto CAD, SAP/ECTR to keep it updated to guarantee problem free production.
• Create CNC program for non-automated families or machines as well as prototypes.
• Create, manage, and maintain standard cutting data, machining processes and sequences used in manufacturing process. i.e., BGO’s, UGO`s, Templates.
• Develop and implement standard fixturing and processes for use in NC programming and manufacturing.
• Provide training to support and educate regarding usage and understanding of established manufacturing standards or systems.
• Actively engaged in continuous improvement projects.
• Work with other plants in identifying best practices that can be implemented locally.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental procedures pertaining to company, legal, and ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards;
• Lead projects; create and maintain time line; follow up the progress of the projects;
• Support production together with maintenance to assure that the machines are functioning according to the desired level; Monitor and control any needed TPM process
• Support local and global projects;
• Conduct training and presentations to the employees.
2) CNC ROUTER PROGRAMMER/ supv skills a plus / great SE USA coast location (not FLA)/ hi end boating industry
We are currently in the process of expanding our Digital Design & Fabrication department with the addition of a 5-axis router. In turn, we are seeking an applicant that is familiar with the technical aspects of 3-axis and 5-axis machining/programming with the aid of CAD and CAM software. Candidate should be able to translate 3D models into machinable parts/assemblies and apply efficient toolpaths/set-ups in a custom “one-off” setting. Experience with Rhino, AlphaCAM, MasterCAM and / or Cabinet Vision is a plus. We have two Onsrud CNC routers and one 3-axis and one 5-axis. We also have a HAAS Mill. Router is more important to our operations though. Alphacam preferred. Although when we get the 5-axis machine, all of our programming will be moving to MasterCAM

As programmer, you will be responsible for developing programs, manufacturing processes in Fusion 360 or Mastercam, building fixturing and set ups for all milling machines ensuring efficiency of the machines and the optimization of programs. Working on both CNC horizontal and vertical equipment, you will design fixturing and configure tools. You will be responsible for proving and setting up the program while documenting setup and tooling notes.
Key Responsibilities
• Interprets part prints and utilizing tooling and fixture knowledge, designs and develops machine programming process and programs to create part(s).
• Design fixturing, work holding, and tooling to support production.
• Set up of machines, including optimization or programs.
• Supports estimating and quoting process for customers based on detailed drawings and specifications as needed.
• CAD/CAM programming/drafting of customer parts for production, including updating new revisions as received from customers.
• CNC Mill, router machines and lathe operation and technical support as needed.
• Technical support to production.
Specialized Skills and Abilities
• High School Graduate
• Minimum 5 years mill experience with CNC programming software. (Fusion 360/Mastercam)
• Minimum 5 years set-up/machine integration/fixturing experience on multi-axis CNC machines.
• Experience working in an ISO manufacturing environment and understanding of quality requirements/standards.
• 1-5 years FANUC control experience.
• Plastic machining experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles preferred.
• CAD/CAM experience and strong computer skills.
• Proven critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
• Excellent time management skills while balancing programming and setups.
• Understanding of blueprints and quality standards and tolerances.
• Strong math background.
• SolidWorks experience.
5) CNC Manufacturing Engineer / NX a plus very established co. in North Carolina Raleigh/ Greensboro area Millturns a plus
